Day 01

First day started off with the class forming 5 groups.
My group members include Gina, Hanis, Jarrold, and Nafisah, and myself.
We picked a random paper where each has a story once we unfold it. They were actually weird stories.
Later, we had to decide on the style we'd go for - video, animation - 2d, 3d?

Ours was about a man of few words. All of us were rather shocked when we read it, since *cough* we talk a whole lot more. Anyway, we decided for our story, we would go for video and 2d animation(for flashbacks). I thought it would be pretty interesting to have some motion graphics in it too.

Later, we had to answer 10 questions and present on it. It was a project proposal.
It wasn't easy to make it sound very interesting, even though stories given were weird.

- Topic: problems with communication between couples
- Usage of case studies to tell story

- house: pin-dropping silence, the occasional utensil scrapping

10. Dialogue
Courtroom:
- wife: “we never have rows because he never says anything”
- “the longest utterance during the period was “this coffee tastes like dish-water”” *sniffs*

House:
- wife: daily common questions (eg. Good morning, etc.)
- husband: gesture (eg. Nod, etc.)
- wife: “I want a divorce!!”
- husband: “I agree.”

Other than that, we found out that MOIP3 is an individual project, and we will have to do an animation based on a weird story.
